March 11, 201312 yr comment_417520 djwarner, did you tweak the adjustment screw on the back of the clock to slow the clock down? Seems like that should resolve your problem. I have had great luck cleaning up old clock mechanisms with appropriate cleaning solution, lubricating the swivel points, making sure the motor works and off she goes. March 11, 201312 yr comment_417532 djwarner, did you tweak the adjustment screw on the back of the clock to slow the clock down? To be honest I was so tickled pink that it was running reliably that I re-installed it and put the new glove box in. 5-10 minutes per day was perfectly acceptable for a car clock in the day. I'm not that anxious to pull the new glove box out and play for several days to get it any closer. March 12, 201312 yr comment_417554 10 minutes per day I'm not sure if this is a typo or not, but you've said it twice now... You're happy with 5-10 minutes of clock error per DAY? To each his own, but I would not be happy with that. I'm thinking you meant per week, or month? March 12, 201312 yr comment_417556 Page 21 of the owner's manual states, "For best results reset the clock on a daily basis." Back in the day, as old man Harrison says on Pawn Stars, a quality wrist watch was only good for 1-2 minutes per day. I do have a clock display on my radio, so resetting is no big deal.
