Posted March 15, 201312 yr comment_417897 Hey guys, new to the forum just purchased a 260z 2+2 74" and it has a dogleg transmissión 5 speed. I'd like to know if there is anyway of telling where it came from? What car? Year?I have zero experience on the Z's and I'm just starting the restoration on this one. Thanks! March 15, 201312 yr Author comment_417906 Thanks appreciate it! How rare are the dogleg gearboxes on Z cars? I've had older BMW still own some of them and doglegs are as rare as hens teeth.
