Hi Ben,

I have been looking for some new OEM springs for my 240 for some time now, to no avail. The closest I have come is an offer from Banzai for some reproduction springs to the original specifications. Not exactly cheap at $165/pair, but they are supposed to be a direct replacement for the original stock springs.

Hope this helps,

Marty

I just bought a set for the rear... I'll be getting some for the front though.

Here's the deal, They are $89 per pair (plus shipping), and he takes credit cards. He has several sets left and I've worked out a deal that I can get a discount on mt front set depending on how many I refer over to him that buy. Just tellin it like it is. If you buy them from him, tell him Dwight with the orange 240 sent you :) oh and let me know to....

His name is Dave, pretty damn nice guy (I just met him the once), his website is www.arizonazcar.com and his email address is dave@arizonazcar.com. I hope to get arounf to installing these this weekend so I'll let ya know how it goes. Here is a pic of the ones I bought from him.

Dwight:

I've seen this fellow's website, and from the photo, they are not OEM rear springs. I believe that he advertises them as stiffer that stock springs, but not lowering the car. Did he give you any specs on the spring rate, or anything?

Carl

EDIT: Nevermind, I checked the site and they are 200 lbs/in for Rears and 180 lbs/in for Fronts.

Dwight,

Thanks for checking them out. The price is really good! I think they are way too stiff for my tastes though. Even Stage II Euro Springs are only 122F/142R. Those would probably be better for racing than a street car.

I guess I'll keep looking.
