I am looking at rescuing a c110 240k sedan from a bloke I know. Has been sitting in his yard for a long time. Think it will not cost much to get it off him. Looks like there is plenty of rust low in many of the panels, roof down to below windows seems ok. Chrome strips have almost rusted off bonnet and boot. I am not afraid of rust repair and have a good mate to paint. Are there any things or places I should look for that would make a car like this unrestorable? Would prefer to find something better condition but my options seem to be very limited. Thanks

Unfortunately not my shed, pic shows about 1/4 of mums smaller shed. Lots of room for projects. Stripped out heaps more today, windscreens, dash, hoodlining, trims, seatbelts. Lots of rust. Going back Thursday with degreaser and compressor. Will be good to get rid of all the rats nests, leaves etc.

Yamahacam,

Try this guy, spoke to him last night, he reckons he'd go to $6K but wants the car to stay in Oz...

Get onto it quick before it ends up O/S, pretty much no work required!

Would for sure if it was a c110(probably along with most here) but a 210 would have to be for cheap for me. Testing the wife enough with one car. This rats nest enitrely filled behind the dash, filled about 3 plastic bags with crap and as for the snake skin, lets just say I kept my legs high when I was steering as it was draggged out of the paddock.
