Posted April 11, 201311 yr comment_420171 My z has the original wood shift knob just no map. Does anyone sell them? Trying not to spend $50+ for a whole knob when all I need is the map. Any recommendations? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/46237-240z-shift-map/ Share on other sites

April 11, 201311 yr comment_420242 What year is your car? The 71 240Z I had back in the late 70s had a black and white 4 speed map. I THINK the green map was for a later 240Z model. Finding the map is proving more difficult than I thought. April 11, 201311 yr comment_420255 The maps are very hard to find. I have a 76 and the map is green. I found one on ebay a couple weeks ago. Mine was made of metal. Your is plastic I am pretty sure. Here are some pictures I saves from another thread. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/46237-240z-shift-map/#findComment-420255 Share on other sites
April 11, 201311 yr Author comment_420257 Do you know what the factory color would have been for a 73 240z? I'm watching one on eBay for $25 is that reasonable? It's green Edited April 11, 201311 yr by ElCimino Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/46237-240z-shift-map/#findComment-420257 Share on other sites
April 11, 201311 yr comment_420267 The green one is for 75, 76 and maybe 4 speed 77. The black with white letters should be for 73. The diameter of the green is 1 1/16 inches. April 12, 201311 yr comment_420310 What size is the hole in the top of your wooden knob now? If it close to and a little over the 1 1/16 then it should fit. April 12, 201311 yr comment_420313 Here are the measurements for the knob on my 73 about half way down the page, both in fraction and mm. The map is black with white numerals. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/help-me/47482-5-speed-knob-reproduction-4.htmlBonzi Lon Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/46237-240z-shift-map/#findComment-420313 Share on other sites
