Well I broke down and ordered one of those NOS rear license plate light assemblies. I am VERY pleased with the quality. It is an OEM part, and looks spectacular. So nice to hvae OME wiring, connections, and fit and finish. If you need this part or yours is looking kind of ratty like mine was, this is a great buy.

Got one this past winter and I fully agree - it is really good looking. I would have done my Z a diservice had I gotten a used one and tried to spruce it up. BTW, yours old one is in much better shape than mine was.
