tuffguy Posted April 30, 2013 Share #1 Posted April 30, 2013 Sorry guys, I can't make out of what some of those number mean. Can anyone identify the offset of this set of wheel. I'm planning to put on my 240z stock suspension. Any input will be appreciated, thanks.
Arne Posted April 30, 2013 Share #2 Posted April 30, 2013 Those are - as the casting indicates - 14x7's, the wider of the two available sizes. I can't remember the offset off hand, but it was pretty aggressive (deep). Probably something like -10 or so. If you can lay a straight edge on the backside rim lip (not the tire, but the rim only) and measure from there to the mounting pad and post the measurement here, I can calculate the offset. Can still work on the front with the right tire and air dam choices. tuffguy Posted April 30, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted April 30, 2013 Thanks Arne, I don't have the wheel in hand yet only planning to purchase the set of wheel. My 240z are totally stock on stock suspension. The guy said it was on his 260z and no issues.
tuffguy Posted April 30, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted April 30, 2013 Adding on to that, I was wondering if the -11 indicate negative offset.
Arne Posted April 30, 2013 Share #5 Posted April 30, 2013 No, I don't think so. Back in those days they didn't use metric.
