Hi all, been working on the z for the last 3 months. Almost there. I need some advice on the weatherstrip kit. Any recommendation. Here are the pictures of before and after the paint job.

Taz, Do you have issues with the door rubbers not closing correctly from MSA. The windshield and hatch rubbers good fit?

The car is 99% rust free, and only surface rust. Preparation took the longest and painting was fast. I used two epoxy primer sprays and sand between paint. Two color sprays, and 4 layers of polyurethane clear coat. Again sanding between coats. Once I'm done installing all the body parts, I will wet sand with 2000 grit sandpaper, then polish.

I will definitely get a higher quality rubber for doors. MSA windshield and hatch good fit?

Im choosing between black dragon and msa for weatherstrip of windshield and hatch only. Any experience between the two. Tks for input

MSA windshield and Hatch were a good fit. Windshield was done in 2007 and hatch and rear quarter glass done in summer 2012. fits snug as they should. Never had any problems with the door rubber. The only door problems I had was due to worn out / misaligned strikers and the lack of dovetails that guided them into correct positioning. The doors took some time to adjust the way they were hung at each the hinge and striker brackets. Once that was rectified the doors close like new. What section of the rubber is blocking your door from closing properly? The seals on the upper front have tabs that get glued into place below the door panel in a section.
