Pretty sure I had a problem trying to get one of these years ago. I am missing the thremostat housing/water outlet or inlet. Bolts on side of head in front inlet manifold. Can I get one new or is it wreckers only?

Do you mean the bypass fitting that goes to the Aux. Air Valve? If you have the required attachment bolts, you could probably make one up. You didn't mention the year of the car/engine.

Sorry, thought I put the engine in. It is a 76 240k with standard L24. Think it is a 2 bolt fitting. From memory does seem to be something like Motorsport! Thermostat Housings - The Z Store, Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts (the first option).

BUT according to my packing slip, ive had these sitting around since 2009....

Just thought I would share to save anyone else the hassle. Thermostat housing top can be bought from Kilkenny castings #wo26b2 and the base to match mine is wob51. I didn't need to buy the base but 99% sure it will match.
