All you datsun Lovers out there may like to know that your hard work may not be in Vain if and when you have to sell your nicely done modified car. Spent a couple of hours on Sat at the shop with a long time datsun Lover and all round good guy Adam Carolla Yes the guy from The Man Show and soon to be co-hosting with Jimmy Kimmel starting tonight. He came down to see and buy the beautiful BRE replica 510 that is in our site and has made it to Shasta and some other shows in So-Cal.

We took it for a spin and when we got back he plunked down 19 large for what was a car he always wanted he also owns a New Z and an Old Z and has had a 2000 Roadster in the past. He may also want to get into vintage racing soon.

Funny how some of the cool people we meet are just regular guys who got a great break or have some talent he was just a construction worker and truck driver a few years back and has not forgotten his Datsun roots. I am also happy to announce that we have hired David Moore from the 510 list to help run the front of the shop and he also is into datsuns and racing and will be a welcome addition to getting things up to speed so to speak. By the way he was nothing like the persona on the Man Show just a great guy and yes we did raise a beer or 2 but it is nice to know that when they get a little money they still love their cars. I hope if nothing else this will encourage all of us not to stop short with our Datsuns.

It's Awesome. Iv'e got photos of the car somewhere. Basically, it was a bare metal, full disassembly paint and body job. The roll was fitted at that point cage and all the modifications for the FJ motor were completed before the painting. It turned out to be the cleanest engine swap you'll ever expect to see. so many custom details and all of them selected to enhance each other. A beauty that cost quite a few bucks to produce.

Go to the classic datsun website and click on cars for sale, the 510 is the 3rd pic down, just click on the pic and it will tell you all the details.

I'm glad the prices are going up, but, this was not a car that anywhere close to original. If it had been nearer to stock, I doubt it would have made it much over 5K, depending one what was still near original equipment......

It's only good when the prices are going up when you already own the car, not when you want to buy one....

I can't wait for the new segment, Datsuns on trampolines. Ziggy Zoggy oi,oi,oi.

Drink a beer (or 4) Man Show style tonight! I think my wife likes his show more than I do!

I'm so sorry to hear the Man Show has not made it Down under yet.

In the show the drink beer, ogle beautifull women (The Juggies) and end each show with Girls jummping on trampolines in skimpy outfits, in slow motion. I try not to admit it, but this show is written for men like me.

Hrmmmmm. Sounds ... entertaining.
