I am not sure if it is just me but I am obviously new to this website. I hate to sound like a bitch but this website crashes on me all the time and is extremely slow to load sometimes. Also I flat out can not use it on my phone I just get server messages and for me the only way to upload pictures is through my phone. I love every other aspect of this website but it really seems out dates. If i knew it could get redone and updated for more efficient use I would be willing to chip in a some money. This is just my opinion but I am wondering if anyone else feels the same or gets the same annoying problems I do.

I was having trouble yesterday and the day before. Very slow loading the website and opening thread took up to a minute or more. Today its back to normal just taking 3 to 4 seconds to load the thread.

I use an android phone and the app is a pain to navigate where as navigating in the normal website forum is one of the strong points here imo.

Works well for me. Especially the helpful advice I receive from Z car enthusiasts. But, your point is web site speed and performance. Hope the web masters get things to your liking.

While I second Blue's rant about people who drive and walk while looking at tiny screens, I also have to agree with TC that I often find the performance of the website to be really slow. So slow that I have to just give up and come back another day. I don't experience this problem with other auto-owner-type websites, so I have to wonder whether it's evidence that the CZCC server/service needs an upgrade. If nothing else, it's perhaps a testament to the popularity of the site!

I concur: This website has slowed to a crawl. It needs SOMETHING, more bandwidth, more server horsepower, better robot exclusion, something.

I've begun trolling on HybridZ simply because I'm tired of the long wait times just to load the home page here.

Mods? What's up? What's the problem? Whats the plan?

A lot of people feel that way about Datsun 240Zs.

Re: small screens and the site. I have a Nexus 7 w/ the Google Chrome system and it works fine with this site. Try to remember that this site is the BEST one for our beloved old Z cars, but it has gone through several upgrades over the years. Some of them work well, some don't ie: the new classifieds. Mike has done a great service for our community with this site, and most of us get it for free. There is a voluntary pay thingum so if you want it to be more perfect...pay up. Some days the site is slow or just plain weird. I just go do something else for a while like play around with my zed, and it always seems to correct itself. Irritating? Yes, but not the end of the world.

Content is king as the MBA's yell from their towers and this site has content!

For me, a website's quality trumps quantity and speed and this is a quality site for sure.

From my experience with the other Z sites:

• Zcar.com sold out and has too many "newbies" but the archives are good for data.
  
• HybridZ's Admin. had a few complete idiots wrecking it and the scope is a bit too broad but the archives are also usefull once in a while.
  
• Zdriver was not well attended and sold out. Their archives are so-so.
  

This site is the best place to be if you have a stock Z and just want to learn about it, fix it, gently improve it and enjoy it plain and simple.... the great folks here are just an added bonus.
