I am not sure if it is just me but I am obviously new to this website. I hate to sound like a bitch but this website crashes on me all the time and is extremely slow to load sometimes. Also I flat out can not use it on my phone I just get server messages and for me the only way to upload pictures is through my phone. I love every other aspect of this website but it really seems out dates. If i knew it could get redone and updated for more efficient use I would be willing to chip in a some money. This is just my opinion but I am wondering if anyone else feels the same or gets the same annoying problems I do.

I believe all the slowness is because of the ads generated from this site. I can't scroll a page until the ad fully displays-which can take a bit. I would gladly pay before I had to look or wait on these ads.

I love this site and I use it differently than I do hybridz-which I also enjoy. For both sites, searching is better 'off-site' through google, than on site ,which can be frustrating.

I have never liked the new classifieds and don't even post there anymore-just my 2 cents

Speaking of $, I think I better donate while it's on the brain.

I get on here almost every day, using a plain old ten year old desk top computer. The site has been very slow for the last couple of days, especially yesterday. But it's back to normal today.

I think the OP let his frustration with speed creep in to his opinion of the site format. Maybe also some subliminal frustration with his addiction to his phone.

I am old school and think phones are for talking and messages. Web sites are for computer screens and should not be compromised for phones.

I detest the mobile generation that walk and drive while looking at tiny screens.

I just appreciate this site and the information that can be gleaned from the members. I have not found a more knowledgeable group of enthusiast. The site dose slowdown from time to time but not that big of a problem to me but I do not try to access the site from my phone. I appreciate all of the work and time that Mike and others put into the site giving us a place to connect with kindred spirits!

Yes - true - the last few days especially - slow in the extreme. Many times it timed out.. the Ad's take a lot of extra time to load as they now seem to be more dynamic {new ads loaded each time, based on what your browser looked at last} vs the older static displays {one or two ad.s per page - which had nothing to do with your information}.

Also re-Positng all the information on the far Right Frame - Club Stats, Tag Cloud, From our Media Center, CMS Articles, SP1.... all take more bandwidth and slow everything down. From a user perspective - I could easily get along without any of it there.

On top of all that there is Googleleads/doubleclick collecting data and reporting it -- adding even more overhead.

Also agree that Content Is King - but keep in mind that it has been the users that put that Content here - not the Sponsors.

One enthusiast site that I use - only "Guest" see the dynamic Ad's in their Posts. Members see only a couple static Ad.'s per page.

Making the Admin's aware of the issue should not be seen nor taken as a "complaint". Posting it as a discussion thread - only lets all of us know it's not our computer nor Internet Connection speed..

I've wondered if my computer with Google Chrome installed and used 95% of the time on-line could be in some way a conflict with advertising money paid to the owners of all the web sites. Like maybe Microsoft updates could cause Chrome to run slower on Windows machines? I heard Harvey Oswald had some brothers too.

I never have any trouble with this site. I have a DSL connection (at a lowly 6MB bandwidth) and use Firefox on Ubuntu running on a 4 year old netbook. I haven't tried to view the site on my (work) Android phone because I don't keep it for personal use.

But consider me a happy contributor!

Last two days was slow for me too, others websites normal, this morning no problems.

Everythings back to normal for me last couple of days. Speed issues are gone. Mike if you did something, thanks. Everyone go back work on your Z's now and be thankful you have this wonderful resource.

This instant-gratification culture the young people have--

People just need to appreciate actually having this website and all the information that is here for them. Otherwise, you can just subscribe to a Z car mailing list (of which there are none) or a Z car magazine (none), and wait weeks or months to be able to read something about them.

Is this website slow?

Nope. Try accessing it, or anything Internet, via 2400 baud modem. Appreciate your high-speed Internet connection, but don't take it for granted.

Is this website outdated?

Absolutely not. It contains all the latest information about all the models that are out there, and more. Some topics were started or went dormant years ago, but the information is still relevant to the Z car you may own today.

Use a computer to access the Internet. Printers require a computer, and I don't know of any "phone" that includes a letter-sized printer.

Slow is the way to go for me , i enjoy this site for the peace of mind that i get get from reading and enjoying the information . i visit almost everyday , not for the speed and instant connection , but for the camaraderie of fellow members .

If one feels a need to complain , i believe there are way more issues for this individual to address in their life . thanxz
