Posted June 2, 201311 yr comment_424705 This 11/69 Z was at the Spokane Festival of Speed yesterday. It belongs to one of the parts guys at Jaremko Nissan. He had told me about it on the phone years ago, this is the first time Ive seen it. It's not for purists, it has an L-28 and triple carbs, with ZX 5 speed. Interior was mostly stock, but series 2 console to fit the five speed. He found it in Montana years ago, it was a rusted basketcase. Jaremko's body shop did the work, and the awesome paint job is 22 years old. But dig that serial number! June 3, 201311 yr Author comment_424733 Carl Beck might have an interest in this one. Carl I notice it's not on your database. I'm guessing you may know the owner!Jim from the Jaremko parts department? He has worked there since 1974.... June 3, 201311 yr comment_424735 Yes - Jim Lee. #00158 is recorded on our list of remaining 1969 Production Datsun 240Z's, but it is not listed on "the Classic Z Car Register", as Jim never sent in the full information. Nonetheless, Paul had told me about the car many years ago. Good to see some pictures of it and get the update!thanks,Carl B.
