August 13, 201311 yr comment_429654 16X7" Wheels with 205 55 16" tires. I love the Eibachs with either Tokico Blues or Illuminas ( I have both and would recommend either).Does that combo work without trimming the stock front valence, i.e. there is no rubbing with the steering at full lock? August 13, 201311 yr comment_429662 Leon......It did on the 71, I had to adjust the front valence on the 72. If you loosen up all the hardware, you can actually move the valence forward enough for clearance. I think the 225 50 16's fill the wells the best, but require substancial tweeking for everything to work without rubbing. Good to know about adjusting the front valence.I really like the fit of 225/50-16s but as you said, it'll require some altering to get those to work with the stock front valence. I have no issues on one Z which has a Xenon air dam but I want to run the stock valence with a lip on the other car. Looks like I may have to go down in size for my next set... August 13, 201311 yr comment_429680 I tried to order a set of Tokico Illuminas this week from MSA and unfortunately they are out of stock. Something to do with Tokico losing their distributor in North America. Anyone know where these are in stock? August 14, 201311 yr comment_429694 Running Tokico springs and Blues on my 78 with 245/45/17 Eagle GT's. I had to trim the MSA air dam for clearance but I think that is pretty common anyway. The wheels are the Konig Imagine with the opal finish that MSA was selling. The ride is a little stiff, but I think that has a much to do with the sidewall on the tire as the suspension.
