Could I get one of you guys to take a pic of your overhead retractable seat belt mount? The area above and to the back of the side windows. My interior panels have been covered and I'm not sure exactly where the seat beat anchors mounted. (been to long since I took it apart)

Thanks Zed, I have the 75 FSM but it doesn't really pinpoint where they mount. I'm pretty sure I know, I just don't want to poke a hole and then find out I was wrong.

I have a 280Z 1977 whish is probably the same. It uses screws (philips head with a thin metal pressed washer) to hold the top of the taillight panels. Thats the plastic inside panel and the outside surrounds and taillight plate.

I think this is what you are asking for. The are plastic rivets with push pins in the middle. Get them from MSA.

For my 5/75 280z, the plastic tail light panel fastens to the hatch deck using the same plastic interior rivets you find all over the interior.

For my 6/72 240z the tail light panel fastens using tiny versions of the plastic interior rivets.

Both cars are low mile cars with original paint and are very original so I feel pretty confident that they are as the were when new.

This is exactly what my 5/75 280 uses.

I wonder if one of these seatbelts will work in a 240Z.
