The last time I tightened the cam and balancer bolts the engine was on a stand and easy to stop the crank from turning, now its in the car and I need to tighten them up, but not real sure how to do it with just one person, Any suggestions?

Remove the starter and put a flathead screwdriver in a flywheel gear till it locks against the tranny housing. Torque the crank bolt to spec. This obviously takes two people.

Just make sure you leave the end of the rope outside the engine, preferably tied to something that doesn't fit through a spark plug hole (like a big washer, or the firewall) :stupid:

chain wrench around crank pulley.

Be carefully with this. If you over stress the rubber layer in the damper you might damage it.
