The little holes for the screws on my cover all (3) broke out. Here is what I did. The cover are very hard to find and not cheep if you do.

I drilled very small holes by hand with a drill bit and uses some SS wire to make the new attachment places. The little screws are hidden under a plastic cover and you can not see much of the wire, I also used a marker to make the wire black.

Kudos sir! That is a simple yet brilliant idea. I have 2 that are still in good shape and they will be one of the last items that ever go on the car.

To repair cracked plastic, I found that a hot glue gun and pieces of similar plastic can be attached as doublers behind the black plastic part. I did this on my interior panels, it worked well.
