Posted July 17, 201311 yr comment_427813 Just bought a 77 280z. I noticed the spark plug wires have fine print on it says "Sumitmoto 1977". Does that mean my car still using the original factory wires after 36 years?! :paranoid: The wires looks okay though. No crack or anything. May be I should get some new NGK? July 17, 201311 yr comment_427823 yes original.if you do not get shocks from the cables when you remove from the plug while the car is running, they are good in my books...better if you can do on a wet day. new ngks should give piece of mind.
