I get this just about every morning. Then when I try to re open the page it say "Database Problems". After 30 minutes it opens up like normal. Am I doing something wrong or my computer maybe?

Same here. Reload/refresh of the page usually gives a "Database error".

It's been pretty iffy since the upgrade over the weekend. Usually takes a little while to get everything back to where it should be.

Hey guys, can you tell me a bit more? Did this happen at a certain time or when you tried a certain page? I am not seeing it this morning. But am wondering if a background process could be the culprit. Let me know, thanks.

I was getting a database error maybe 25 minutes ago. Site performance does seem to be a bit down - slower than usual.

I'll pay more attention to specific times should errors occur again.

I saw the Gateway message around 6:30AM Eastern Time and about 10:30AM I just got "database error". I will try to remember to do screen captures in the future.

Hi Mike, I get the 504 gateway error when I log out. If I go back a page and try again it usually works. Thanks for all you do to keep this site the BEST!.

I replied to a post on one of the forums this morning and got the 504 Gateway error.

The post seems to have gone through although the little hourglass just sat there forever.

Ditto Wade's experience about 10:30 Central time. When I tried coming back in with a fresh entry to the site, I got a DB error several times. I came back about 15 min. later and all was well.

I'm an early morning reader too so it's always 4am to 6am central. When I reply to a post it just spins out then gives a new page with gateway error at the top and a smaller "nginx" below the gateway error 504
