Someone ripped my hood emblem off my Z. I believe the clips on the underside are still intact. I know there are a few on ebay for the tune of $40, but thought I might see if anyone has an extra laying around beforehand.

Same thing happened to me a few years ago - haven't bothered to replace it yet.

No spare here, but 40 bucks seems to be the going rate. Just make sure if it's from eBay that they mounting posts are still intact.

Wow, $40 for a crappy little piece of plastic? You could get a new set of NGK plugs and wires for that. IMHO almost all cars look better without one. It's an American tradition, for most all car fanatics, to remove the hood ornaments and lead the holes first thing. Guess if it was a Rolls-Royce, Jaguar (not the new one, I'd ditch that thing) or a Bugatti I'd have to re-think it.

Mine is gone. It was shot anyway.

I prefer the look of the emblems on the S30. They sort of "finish-it-off" and maintain the retro look of the car.

Emblems or not, they are just pretty cars...

If the hood emblems were $8.00 in 1970 - they should be $48.19 in todays devalued Dollars.

So just go buy a new one - they will only cost more next year.
