The orange 240Z craigslist ad I see listed intrigues me because I remember spotting this car repeatedly over the years heading down Broadway Ave here. It is orange like my first Z. I recognize the car because of the name on the license plate. There are some other Zs on craigslist now too.

Price Drop Nissan/Datsun 1972 240z

I looked up the 2 cars on Boise, ID Craigslist that you referenced and the asking price for the orange '72 is $6k and the black '72 is $5.2k.

There is a '71 that is located in Eagle, ID and is listed for only $5k and looks significantly under priced to me. I have posted some pics below and here's the link:

Both orange cars look to be very nice values. Note that the second one has a dash rug, possibly hiding cracks. Check out the highly collectable rubber mats in the footwells of the black car!

The one in Eagle for 5K looks like a very nice car. Seat material looks original, same with the radio. Very nice interior. Motor needs some help, but otherwise looks quite nice from the pics.
