I have never messed with carbs that look like this. Where do I start? Any pics would help much.

Seeing that rust, It's ALOT of work. The part under the doors is prob crispy to. I would fix that first if I where you, then look into the mechanical part. Rust that bad takes some serious skill to repair it SAFE, that's the most important thing imo.

I know this. Not my first rodeo at something this bad.

So far I cut out some good sheet metal and need to do some cutting and grinding inside the car yet. Got a set of brand new bucket seats!!! There out of a neon that my friend had. He wanted leather interior so when he bought the car the stock seats sat in his garage. There really nice and a perfect design for what I want. The seats that came with the car I think were out of a later year 280. There blue and silver.

The sad thing is I fell into another deal but the wife says NO MORE CARS hahah. Not sure if I want to sell this one or not. Not even sure what its worth?

Not very much the way it sits. Most people would consider it a parts car unless the rust is limited to the floors and no where else...

I'd say parts car as well, unless the rest of the underside is somehow magically clean and the surface rust on the hood and fenders was easy to grind off. Looks like it has some good to it, but it would probably not be worth the money or time to fix properly.

Well like I said it was restored before so the rest of the car is good even the underside. There is some surface rust on the A arms but it comes off easy. I will put more thought in it after vacation. I would hate to part out such a rare car just to get another car. I am what they call a very rare breed of human. I am 100% for automotive. Most say I get way to caught up into my hobby.
