I'm thinking about picking up a late Series 1 that has auto... but I'd rather put a 5spd in it. If I do this... maybe you can use that tranny.

I want the diff GeoJoe, not the tranny. The diff was a bit higher in the auto geared Z's. That would add a bit of pep to my step.
