November 2, 201311 yr comment_435105 Oops it was 4 weeks ago that you ask - but - Yes - put the rear spacers in. There are thrust bearings on the front strut mounts - so the springs can turn with wheels.. The spacers on the rear just set the ride height and installed spring height at the correct level. If the answer was too late - no worry. But if you take them apart again in the future you can put them in then.BTW - the Z really looks GREAT!! Well worth the time and money!!Carl B. November 2, 201311 yr comment_435106 A couple of more pics. I've never been so excited about a windshield. Is that an original Nissan passenger side view mirror I see? If so, nice find. Car looks great. November 2, 201311 yr Author comment_435116 Thanks. I'm not sure if it is a passenger door mirror, or not. I bought it from Nissan of Chesapeake. It sits a little differently than the drivers door, so it's probably not. November 2, 201311 yr Author comment_435119 Well, I sold the first set of Panasports and bought a new set with a little different offset to allow for 225's that won't rub. November 2, 201311 yr comment_435127 What offset would that be? You may have to adjust the front valence for clearance on turns. There is adjustment there if you have a problem. Beautiful car! November 2, 201311 yr Author comment_435130 I'll take a look when I get back to the shop. I purchased them from Rob Fuller at Z Car Garage in San Jose, Cali. He said that he had the magic offset for 225's, so I'm hoping that I don't have any rubbing issues. Good to know that the valance can be adjusted if need be. Thank you for the compliments! This is really getting to be fun. November 12, 201311 yr Author comment_435924 A few more engine pics, plus a new sticker for the toolbox. Gas tank goes in tomorrow and we should be able to fire it up, if the valve cover gets back from the coating shop. November 12, 201311 yr Author comment_435941 The gas tank is in. If only the valve cover was ready, we could fire it up for the first time in about 16 months. November 12, 201311 yr comment_435942 Is that an original Nissan passenger side view mirror I see? If so, nice find. Car looks great. There is no such thing, as there is only one mirror, but it can be attached to either side. However, because of this, if you attach two to your car the arm will be at different angles and not look the same side-to side. Car is looking great by the way (although I'm not a fan of panasports ), bet you can't wait to fire it up!
