Posted August 19, 201311 yr comment_430072 The story goes I bought a 73 240z with 280zx turbo pieces and a wiring harness & ecu from a 79 280z. While the car was in my mechanics possession the car suddenly died while he was testing it out. Instead of finding out why it died he decided to proceed to install an 83 turbo wiring harness & ecu. He couldn't get it running and says the car now has no spark. I had the car towed back to my house where I have been doing other things to it. I'm a dummy when it comes to wiring and would gladly pay someone who knows what he's doing to get this car back on the road. The car hasn't ran in over a year and the only time I've driven it was right after I bought it. It's killing me just looking at it collecting dust. I will pay good money to the guy with the skills to get my Z going. I've attempted to contact Mikes Z Shop it Whittier but the guy seems too busy to let me take my car in. I'm out of options here..Here's a link to the build:~73 240z Project~ - S30 Series - 240z, 260z, 280z - HybridZ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47229-wiring-help-needed-in-so-cal-turbo-project-73/ Share on other sites

I also don't know the spark setup well enough to help you trouble shoot some of the other 280z or zx guys should be able to help you trouble shoot...Charles Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47229-wiring-help-needed-in-so-cal-turbo-project-73/#findComment-430079 Share on other sites
