Very good price. Just the engine and the brakes would cost more than the sale price.

Well actually its US dollars so double the price to get AU dollars ($17200) and still tell me its a good price for a write off.

Engine alone without loom in Aus sells for <$7000. One with loom clutch etc goes for alot more. Half cuts are easily in the 10's.

Brembo brakes from a GTR are pretty expensive too. Rims are extortionally expensive. The low milage on this engine would fetch a decent price.

Now add all the other extra tidbits and you have yourself a very good deal.

I though i saw an ad for GTR front cuts for around AUD$7-8000?

You're not just buying the engine though. A US importer would have a field day with that car. Double his money in parts easy I'd say.

Only thing I don't understand is it says it's got the HICAS traction control system when GTR's come out with the 4wd system called ATTESA??

When I got into the Skyline scene (they were still a rarity here then) people were paying $20,000+ for a new GTR engine. Don't know how much they cost brand new now.
