Wheel/tire/brake upgrade

I need some help. Can anyone shed some light on wheel size thats best for my z? I have been told to upgrade to 16inch wheels, but having a problem finding them with 0 offset? I do not want to cut and add finders at this time, but want to escape the 14inch slots and upgrade to larger brakes(including disc in the rear) I'm running 14inch slots with falken 225/60/14 at this time. I just do not what is best? Please advice? Thanks

Be sure to plan you work - then work you plan. 15" wheel size is very limited with quality tires and if you plan on upgrading to bigger brakes the 15 wheels (depending on what you are doing) will still need wheel spacers to push the wheel out of the way of the caliper. I would go with a staggered tire size regardless of what size wheels you end up running.

It will take a lot of research to get all this the way you want it but it will be worth the time involved.

Post #36 has the details regarding my upgrade from 14x6 Iron Cross wheels to 16x7 Konig Rewinds with 205/50R-16 Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec tires. Note my 240Z has been lowered with Suspension Techniques Sport Springs, lowers the car approximately 1.5" over stock. I have had no issues with rubbing and this wheel tire combination fills the wheel arches nicely. This was the best performance ugrade I have made to my Z.

You know what opinions are like..............

No, care to explain? My post wasn't an opinion piece.

A staggered setup (we're talking smaller front tires here) will induce more understeer and decrease braking traction. It's simple vehicle dynamics...
