@jalexquijano I'm assuming you mean it won't start without using the choke? Will it start using 1/2 choke or even 1/4 choke? You may not need full choke to start it. Too much choke, even for a few minutes, can carbon up the plugs and exhaust. How well is running these days when it's warm? Any more problems with #4 or did the cap and rotor fix it?

So you still have a dead cylinder on number 4? You did not mention any changes or repairs to that cylinder.

@Lumens He didn't mention #4 still having problems. I asked about #4 just to satisfy my curiosity.

I think it would be a good gesture, to all who help, to take out all six plugs and post a picture Jalex.

I know. We both typed a reply at Exactly the same time. I saw yours after I submitted mine.

Bad #4 cylinder plug.. No compression test report on it. All rest of cylinders were reported at 100 psi.

Does not compute.

Jalex we got your back.   This is a very long process but you are in a very hot and humid area that most of us do not have to contend with.

Thanks guys. I took the car out for a spin yesterday after performing the following:

1.  pulled the choke to 1/2 the lever in order for the car to crank.

2. Let the car warm for a minute after taking it out from the garage.

3. Drove it gently until the temp needle got near to 1/2

4. Started stepping on the gas to achieve more speed.

Results:

1. No backfire either on the intake or exhaust.

2.  Cruises nice although i would prefer a faster response when accelarating from 1st gear. How can i accomplish this or is it the nature of the beast?

Will pull all 6 plugs out today.

Calmly, did you swap out the cap and button before this "spin"?

Also, very gently, are you happy with performance?
