Welcome to the world of "I wish I know what the hell I did to fix it." That's why I like to change one thing and then test. I had to learn it the hard way too. Congratulations. Drive it and let us know how it's doing after a few days so we can start the celebration.

Tested the car today. 2 to 3 mins with choke on. Nice aceleration. No backfire on the intake or through the exhaust. I guess those ngk bp6es former plugs were damaged and even cleaning them with brass brush wouldnt help. I took some pics of the plugs for your approval on the mixture knobs turns. Right now i am at 3.5 turns clockwise both. Any need of readjusting the floats? Lowering the floats more?

You want me to drop them to 4 turns clockwise? Isnt it too much?

That's what we're trying to discover. Four turns down would be wrong for a stock engine. We're trying to get a little more color (tan) on the plugs. Drop the nozzles another 1/2 - 1 turn (your choice) and take another pic of the plugs after you've warmed it up and taken it for a test run.

Plugs 5 - 4- 3- 2 after 30 mins of cruising at high speed. Idle mixture knobs set to 3.75 turns clockwise front and rear.
