I just created a "redirect" in our server so that all addresses opening 240z.org will automatically change to classiczcars.com.

This isn't a big deal and all links should still work. But, some users may complain because you will need to save another cookie to your computer. The 240z.org cookie can be deleted because all cookies are now stored as classiczcars.com.

If this is all a foreign language to you... just log-in to the system if it asks you again. You should be ok from that point on.

I finally figured out how to make a redirect work properly.

We still own two domains. But, we no longer have the problem of two different domains pointing to the same directory. The system now sees the old domain and then REDIRECTS it to our main domain name.

All old links should still work. Meaning, if you want to jump directly to the gallery, just use http://www.240z.org/photopost. You'll see that the link is automatically changed to http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost in the address bar.

Now, you've change the club. :( I liked it the way it was, and didn't even notice the change. :stupid: Now I'll have to remember a new name, this is going to be terribly difficult. ROFL

What changed? Nothing.

You can still use 240z.org as much as you like. The intent of the message was to warn people that you might need to save a new cookie to your computer.

Maybe Bryan thought we had too much cheese on this website and wanted to add a little "whine" to our repast. LOL

PS: Bryan, our member J. Axtell is a Register Pharmacist & may be able to help you with the "first thing to go" as you age! Check his avatar for more info! ROFL

We will always keep 240z.org. That's our history!! I'm not going to forget that.

But, try this test.

Type http://www.240z.org into a new browser window. You will notice (after the page loads) that the address bar says http://www.classiczcars.com

I did this to help fix a lot of little bugs. So, if you wanted to go to our gallery, you could use http://www.240z.org/photopost and the system will push you to http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost.

Just a little work on the code.

People using 240z.org may need to store a new cookie or log in again.
