September 24, 201311 yr comment_432268 What size rewinds do you have? I'm interested in getting a set, but need to make sure they clear my bigger brakes. September 24, 201311 yr comment_432299 I used spacers to clear the tie rods on my race car when I use the 15x7 Konigs. The issue I then had was that the wheel studs were too short. I'd use the spacers all the way around if you can.Chuck Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47470-wheel-spacer-and-konig-rewinds/#findComment-432299 Share on other sites
September 24, 201311 yr comment_432326 Hey Jerry, you don't happen to have a 4:36 LSD R-200 up in the attic from the racin' days do you ? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47470-wheel-spacer-and-konig-rewinds/#findComment-432326 Share on other sites
September 24, 201311 yr comment_432334 Spacers - Summit or JEGS has them - you may have to take them to a machine shop and have them ground down - 1/4" may be all you can find out there and you may just need 1/8" clearance. You will have to get some longer stud bolts as well to make it work - NAPA has them - take your stud to the parts counter and get one size longer - make sure you get the same thread.Did you go vented rotors or solid? September 25, 201311 yr Author comment_432349 I am using the stock solid rotors. I tried to measure by using washers and best I can tell 5mm will clear it but they only come in 61mm hub size should fit the back (i ordered all 4) but am going to have machine the front ones. Best I can tell it will need to be 73mm for the front. would like to get as close to hubcentric as I can. Can anyone confirm the front size ? I am going to go out there and measure with a string and divide by 3.14 and see what happens . Thanks for the offer Jerry but i already ordered them.14 and 15" Konig will not clear Toyota calipers without spacers I tried both . I think with 5mm i can get about 5-6 turns on stock stud bolts should be OK a think Dan Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47470-wheel-spacer-and-konig-rewinds/#findComment-432349 Share on other sites
September 25, 201311 yr comment_432353 Be very careful about thread engagement on the lug nuts. I would want as much engagement as I could get. The studs are cheap and losing a wheel is a bad deal and costly for you and the car...Charles Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47470-wheel-spacer-and-konig-rewinds/#findComment-432353 Share on other sites
September 25, 201311 yr comment_432355 I agree with Charles and that is exactly what I did to my hub a few months ago - take it all apart - it just takes a few minutes to pop the studs out and put the others in. Stay safe on the twistys! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47470-wheel-spacer-and-konig-rewinds/#findComment-432355 Share on other sites

September 26, 201311 yr comment_432449 You know there are two different types of S12+8 -one vented / one not vented. The housing looks the same - the width of the span where the rotor goes is the only difference. They come off different years of the Toyota 4 Runner and such. Just a reminder.
