September 24, 201311 yr comment_432295 I don't think Daniel stern will have a harness-he only sells components and like said above-Cibea lens. September 24, 201311 yr comment_432296 Buy the MSA kit or Z Specialties kit for the relays. They are one and the same. Daniel Stern won't have anything plug-&-play for the Z. The kits I mentioned ARE plug-&-play. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47481-headlight-relay-options/?&page=2#findComment-432296 Share on other sites

September 25, 201311 yr comment_432347 Contact Dave Irwin and see if he can make you a plug and play for the 260.If he does, you'll need to provide him with 2-3 stock 260 headlight plugs with about 3 feet of connected wire. That's what he did for mine and it was a direct plug-in that took about 45 minutes to install. September 25, 201311 yr Author comment_432380 Just chiming in again, and thanks again for the suggestions. I've looked over the directions on how to build these kits yourself, and it seems to me I'm a lot better off ordering something that will snap in and not have to worry about it. I think I'll start with the headlight kit first, and then get the kit for the dash and taillights. I'm assuming the headlights take more power and so will reduce the load on the switch the most. Am I right on this? I don't drive that much at night, but I noticed that the switches are spendy if they do burn up! September 25, 201311 yr comment_432381 Most folks are scared of the wiring aspects and working with relays , but it is very straight forward and relays are very simple devices. The job can be made even easier by getting relays from a JY that already have wire leads coming from them instead of wiring your own ends into the relays. Most OEM relays are very robust and can be reused many times. I am using old ZX relays now for my ECU project . September 25, 201311 yr comment_432390 Dave Irwin also repairs turn signal/ headlight switches and is MUCH cheaper than trying to find new ones.Dave Ruiz Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47481-headlight-relay-options/?&page=2#findComment-432390 Share on other sites
