Message I received today from Courtesy today "# B5050-P7100 CABLE SPEEDOMETER is on national back-order status. We typically expect to receive back-ordered parts from this distribution center in 7-10 business days; however, it could take as long as 4 weeks."

The 240 - 280 is now the same part number and I contacted Courtesy Nissan (David House) yesterday and he said they were no longer available and ran a nationwide search and found none laying in stock anywhere.

So what is the final vertict on this? Does Courtesy or any other dealer have it or not?

I'm probably going to make Jerry squirm by even suggesting this, but new speedo cables are availabe in the aftermarket. I just purchased a couple.

If yours is broken, you can can at least put the "imposter" on for the time being, purely temporarily, until you convince Diseazd to sell you the real one he just bought, since its the last one on earth apparently....
