Posted October 6, 201311 yr comment_433088 I have a 1976 stock 280z. I'm trying to get my blower fan working. I opened the fuse box today and found a broken clip on the A/C fuse. How do I find a replacement and would that make the blower not work? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47589-fuse-box-problem/ Share on other sites
October 6, 201311 yr comment_433089 1. I haven't tried to find a fuse box clip. You might try some of the local marine stores. I figure there should be some in Myrtle Beach.2. Yes. October 6, 201311 yr comment_433092 I had a defective clip on my series I 240z. Ended up getting a single station fuse holder from Radio Shack. I carefully sectioned out the defective clip and squared the hole I made with a Dremel tool. Carefully cut the new fuse holder apart and fitted it into the newly made hole. Epoxied in the new clip and soldered in the lead. Hard to detect with the fuse cover on, but there if you look for it.So yes it can be done, but it won't pass for a concourse restoration. October 6, 201311 yr Author comment_433098 Thanks for your help. I'm going to try to find a new clip here in town first. I found a fuse box on Ebay that has the same clip.
