Gee Posted February 20, 2003 Share #4 Posted February 20, 2003 The rear window has been plated up... I wonder if you could "reverse" this process to take it back to standard???
halz Posted February 20, 2003 Author Share #5 Posted February 20, 2003 That was the main thing that put me off. The owner says that reversing the process is an 'easy' job but I'm not a panel beater. In the car's favour, it has the original engine and gearbox and has had the current owner for 18 years (he's the 2nd oner). Sounds like he would be pretty negotiable too... Z Kid Posted February 20, 2003 Share #6 Posted February 20, 2003 Looks great but under the bonnet is poor, and the window thing may not be that easy to restore back, and the tyres he has fitted are stretched so much to get them over the rims. MicksZ Posted February 20, 2003 Share #7 Posted February 20, 2003 Those tyres need to be a bit wider to fit the rims - the car looks very straight though. I wouldnt ever own a dark coloured car after my deep purple 1200 coupe - too much maintenance to keep it looking good.

halz Posted February 21, 2003 Author Share #9 Posted February 21, 2003 Cuong has asked me before and I have seen the pics of his 260 - it looks nice. Alas, I am sticking with my (impossible??) task of finding a neat and tidy 240Z...
