October 16, 201311 yr comment_433808 The 72 has been refreshed at some point with no attention to detail. It is hard to tell if it is a quick patch up and paint or just someone who did not now the difference. The Mikuni's are nice but if they have been sitting and need a rebuild that can get expensive. I can not tell but they look like 44's if so unless the engine has some work on the breathing etc... that is a lot of carb. That being said it looks like the dash is not cracked and it looks like the Mikuni's are possibly a set of Datsun Comp with the Datsun comp intake, that is nice. You would need to see detail pics of the undercarrage, inside wheel wells etc... October 16, 201311 yr comment_433811 If there's not the tiniest spot of rust, then it might be worth it, but that's a pretty penny for an unrestored Z with crimped wiring hanging out from under the dash. October 16, 201311 yr comment_433823 Well your going back to a 240z so from a European point of view they are worth more. But it's a late 72 model, but expect some things to do on the car, maybe you can get something off from that 10k ? October 17, 201311 yr comment_433879 In Seattle it should sell for $5K to $6.5K. Compete repaint made worse by everything blacked out under the hood. Missing all emblems, wrong color seats. "Put it in the air and notice the immaculately clean undercarriage that was frame off restored before storage" - - -yea.. I'd like to see that! Most likely sprayed with undercoat to hid the rust.. If you want a nice 240Z - keep looking, this one is FAR from "mint". FWIW, Carl B.
