I was curious if anyone has used a 4 speed with 4.11 gears? Also what was their take on the set-up. Thanks

Basically it would be like lowering all for gears about 1/2 a gear. On the interstate driving in 4th would be almost like driving in 3rd with the stock diff.

If you only used the car in town, or on a race track, it might be OK. Long trips would be noisy.

I am using a 4.09 rear gear. I do have a 6 speed but the 4th gear is a 1.00. Cruising around town is great. With the torque and boost of the motor you can accelerate from 1500rpm to 6000 and cover or break all speed limits.

I was contemplating that with keeping the 4 speed and running the dif I am using. But cruising at 3800 rpm to get 70mph would be annoying for long trips.

Well I will have a 4 speed with 3.90 gears soon, but looking at that webpage walter posted, I think i will want a 5 speed in less than 12 months.

Milk and diaper runs to the corner store will be fun though
