I am working on the knobs, I already have the knobs done. I will be sending the first batch of twenty to be chromed in the near future.

I have approximately 6 of the Hitachi 240Z AM/FM radios and 2 of the 240Z AM radios plus a few of the 260Z/280Z radios that I have purchased over the years. The only problem is that I don't have enough good face plates and knobs for all of them.

I bought a totally restored am/fm radio back when I was restoring my interior. Looks and works great along with the power antenna (considering what it is) - after spending several hundred dollars on it I installed a second modern unit in the glove box that is hidden.................the thinks we do for our cars!

I just decided, and purchased an original radio for my 72. I can't wait to hear mono AM and FM in there! :ermm:LOL I think restoring the radios, is a good investment. Prices are going up rather quickly. I am considering trying a Bluetooth to FM modulator to play music off my phone, and broadcast it to the original radio on FM. Too bad its only mono.
