Namerow Posted November 2, 2013 Share #26 Posted November 2, 2013 Scary rust. Impressive fab and repair work (makes it all look so easy). This is another great photo reference guide for all of us who are contemplating sheet metal repairs. Thx for posting!
Captain Obvious Posted November 2, 2013 Share #27 Posted November 2, 2013 Great pics. One thing that was amazing was the amount of mirror image they did for the RHD cars. Two completely different cars from the dash forward. One thing that caught my eye, however, was that they did NOT redesign the center console. They used the same center console and ebrake assy on both RHD and LHD versions.
ajmcforester Posted November 2, 2013 Share #28 Posted November 2, 2013 I did not think a transformer from a Microwave was strong enough to make a welder. I might need to find a microwave

Captain Obvious Posted November 3, 2013 Share #30 Posted November 3, 2013 I heard that the design was done for North America and the RHD stuff was an afterthought.

dzc922 Posted November 3, 2013 Share #33 Posted November 3, 2013 That is outstanding work. I really respect anyone who has had to complete all the fabrication work that you have, Great job!
Patcon Posted November 9, 2013 Share #34 Posted November 9, 2013 I love seeing great fabrication work. I have a great appreciation for this skill set after having tried my hand at some easier welding jobs. I am very good with my hands but fabricating panels at this level is much harder than it seems. Beautiful work...Charles
