November 2, 201311 yr comment_435115 Scary rust. Impressive fab and repair work (makes it all look so easy). This is another great photo reference guide for all of us who are contemplating sheet metal repairs. Thx for posting! November 2, 201311 yr comment_435121 Great pics. One thing that was amazing was the amount of mirror image they did for the RHD cars. Two completely different cars from the dash forward. One thing that caught my eye, however, was that they did NOT redesign the center console. They used the same center console and ebrake assy on both RHD and LHD versions. November 2, 201311 yr comment_435122 I did not think a transformer from a Microwave was strong enough to make a welder. I might need to find a microwave Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47859-from-resto-page-in-japan-tear-down/?&page=3#findComment-435122 Share on other sites

November 3, 201311 yr comment_435172 I heard that the design was done for North America and the RHD stuff was an afterthought. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47859-from-resto-page-in-japan-tear-down/?&page=3#findComment-435172 Share on other sites

November 9, 201311 yr comment_435669 I love seeing great fabrication work. I have a great appreciation for this skill set after having tried my hand at some easier welding jobs. I am very good with my hands but fabricating panels at this level is much harder than it seems. Beautiful work...Charles Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/47859-from-resto-page-in-japan-tear-down/?&page=3#findComment-435669 Share on other sites
