Very nice! I have the 16x7 Rewinds (graphite with polished rim) with 205/50-16s Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec on my lowered 240. Also got them from Discount Tire. Going from 14" wheels with crappy tires, this was by far the best performance upgrade I've made to my car.

I plan going with the rewinds too, but choosing the right tire size is tough. Right now my Z has 205/60/14(f) and225/55/14® from the previous owner. I want to run the new BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 but they only come in 195/55/15, 205/50ZR16, 205/55ZR16, 215/55ZR16, 225/50ZR16. My Z is lowered with Eibachs springs.

I also have the Konig Rewinds and went with the darker graphite / charcoal interior and the polished outside lip. My son pushed me in this direction, as opposed to the all silver version, and I was a little hesitant, but am really happy at how they turned out. I get lots of compliments at the shows I attend as well, so they seem to be universally accepted (and also look very period correct).

I went with a 16 inch version and run 225-50 Michelin Pilot Sports all the way around. No issues at all with front clearance. My car is a late model 260 (with the original 280 body style) and I have an aftermarket air dam up front. I did have a little rubbing on the back when I would hit a sizeable bump / depression in the road at higher speeds, but I had my rear fenders rolled and have had no issue since.

Mike, Beautiful car! Great wheel/tire set up for a potent looking stance. Your son has good taste, too. The pilots are the top choice on my wish list for my '70 z project. I've had michelins, but not pilot sports, on a high spirited '76 BMW 2002 for a couple of years, and I just can't wear them out! Mine are great except for snow traction, but I have dedicated snows for Midwest winters; not so relevant in Texas, I suppose. Any feedback from your driving on the pilots? Are they everything one expects from Michelin, partularly on the rwd z? Quiet on highway, I assume?
