Floor board rubber(s)

Hey mates

Long story short, I've noticed in the past that my passenger side carpet was getting wet everytime it rainned here in Tucson - which isn't that often. I pulled the carpet out and found the floorboard in ok shape - lots of surface rust - but covered in water. This past morning I was driving over to friends house in rain and noticed that evertime I would go over a puddle water would enter the cabin through the large rubber peice in the floor. Does anyone know where one could get these? Are they hard to put in/take out?

Search for body plugs. Just measure the size of the holes. I know I have some hiding in my garage.

What are those for, anyway? There shouldn't be water leaking in from anywhere, so you shouldn't need any kind of drain hole. Do people clean the carpets using a garden hose?

What I know is that most cars have them. It's when for some reason the floors end up full of water, you can drain it out by pulling the plugs...

In that case, buy a large number of similar plugs of any convenient size, patch the area with something, cut a hole for the new plugs, and use those instead.
