December 8, 201311 yr comment_437581 Dave, You know I hate to see you sell the Z, but I understand that this is part of life. Does this mean you'll have time to come help me work on my Z now? You may also want to post an ad in Datsun Classifieds. Robert S. December 8, 201311 yr comment_437583 Looks like a ton of car for the money. Maybe I'm not up on the z car market but 2500 seems a little on the cheap side for all the work into it already. Will make an awesome driver for somebody. December 8, 201311 yr comment_437602 Pitty you have to sell. Reading what you have done so far, you are giving it away. Goodluck.Im afraid thats the way it goes. Like they say: The cheapest way to get a fully restored Datsun is to buy someone elses project. For 20k after they spent 30k on it.Over her it would be gone in a flash, but then it would never go so cheap. Here is one to compare, but its far from a daily driver.Datsun 240Z 1973 Benzine - Occasion te koop op AutoWereld.nlChas Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/48108-i-unfortunately-have-to-sell-my-z/#findComment-437602 Share on other sites

December 8, 201311 yr Author comment_437609 Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. The body on the car is really why I am asking 2500. There is a lot of work to be done but it is doable. If I don't get what I feel is a fair price I may sell my BMW instead. ( I still might do that anyway). Thanks again.David Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/48108-i-unfortunately-have-to-sell-my-z/#findComment-437609 Share on other sites
December 10, 201311 yr comment_437706 If I knew someone in the market, I would tell them to jump on it, if I didn't have mine and still wanted a Z car, I would jump all over it. Figure that's about what you'd pay for a 2000 camry, and with what you've done is car could make a decent daily and would be way more fun, and with the ztherapy carbs it would probably even get semi close to as good of mileage. If you decide to keep it, and finish it, or at least wait until spring you'd get much better money.
