That's Series Two 240z steering wheel...

I'm 99% sure it's an Izumi.

Made by the same people who made the OEM steering wheels for 'our' cars ( Izumi Motor Co. made the 'Datsun Compe' steering wheels too... ) but one of their many aftermarket versions.

And I think it's been modified some time in its life too....

Hot damn...now we're getting somewhere!

HS30-H is the man when it comes to s-30 ZCAR knowledge!

I am definitely going to research this further.

And while I agree that it does LOOK modified , what pops into my mind is 'who would care enough about a relatively generic steering wheel to weld a horn button mechanism onto it'?

Those welds do not look like a backyard welder did them either...

This came off a Honda website.

I don't have the horn button but it should be easy to adapt a 77-78 horn button.
