Posted January 5, 201411 yr comment_439051 literally!! 5 gallon pail with a coat hanger wire through a pop can, with stategicly place peanut butter to balance can. place pail near a ledge or have a ramp for mouse to gain access. mouse jumps on can, can rolls and mouse falls into bucket filled with a few inches of water. great for us car storage people because you don't have to reload trap like a conventional mouse trap. my buddy said they caught 8 mice at one time in the hunting cabin up north. January 6, 201411 yr comment_439093 Add some antifreeze to that water in the pail. Then the water doesn't freeze, and the dead mice don't smell....as much!! (Cats love anti-freeze, but it shuts down their kidneys). January 7, 201411 yr Author comment_439158 you could put a small amount of vegetable oil in the bottom so they can't climb out and release them somewhere else.
