Thanks Mike. Austin is not far at all I just need to get me a 183A Toll Pass. Hate the mailing system . I am super excited to get to work on this thing, but landed myself in bed yesterday after some minor foot surgery. Now I can only read online and think about what I will be doing.

Welcome to the Z community! I am also here at Fort Hood AKA "The great place" as you well know by now (we get told that everyday!!!) I almost went V8 but decided to go with a 3.1 stroker. It sounded like a good idea at the time but I just couldn't do it. I want to stay with the L6. The build that was done here locally with no issues. There are a couple of shops here that can handle whatever you want to throw in that car. I have the JTR V8 swap books if you want to look at them. PM me..I have extra parts for that year as well.

Gotta love the Great Place. Been here for about 5 years now. Love your car. I have the JTR kit, but not the books, may have to hit you up on that at some point. This sure is one heck of a helpful website

Welcome to the Site and thanks for your service. I live up in Granbury, just a couple hours away. My car is a '71 but it is a track only car. Wish I could go on some of those rides the Z Clubs take, but my car is just not for the street. You have found a lot of help in this forum, just be sure to learn who knows what they are talking about and those who are just talking.
