Anybody on West Coast Have a 240Z Hood for Sale?

Sadly, a fellow 240Z owner mortally curled the hood on his daily driver 240Z in traffic.

He's looking to get it repaired, but would prefer a metal hood over a reproduction composite hood.

Please contact me know if you have a non-vented S30 hood you would consider selling and I'll let him know.

I have a spare at my shop that someone had used on a race car. It is in good condition but will need a couple holes welded up where he had the "pins" in to keep it from flying open.

It is in L.A. though, so shipping would be probably be prohibitive (assuming he is near you). I do have a client that occasionally ships cars up there. I can check to see if he has anything going up in the near future.

Good luck finding one! I have had feelers out there for quite some time now on a stock hood for my 77 and no response.

Yeah Julio in all fairness, if you get to it before I can then so be it. I just got slammed with work and probably wont get to it for at least a couple of weeks, maybe.

David, I do want it but like I mentioned yesterday, if you sell it before I get to it, then it's my loss.

I haven't heard what's going on with the owner of the mashed hood, so you may well still have a shot at getting the hood.

I just offered to see if I could help him locate one. The rest, really, is up to him, (or his body shop)...

Just to put it out as an option. Thay were still available from Nissan part # 65100-N4200 it was $359.00 when I got mine a few years ago and no shipping.
