The server move will be from my garage out to a real co-location facility in Seattle, WA. I've learned my lesson about going with virtual systems and won't go that way again. Our site will be permanently located on our own dedicated private HP server in an air conditioned, isolated, and protected power environment. We are growing, and we have the equipment and the people to help us get there. Hi SteveJ, I just set it up last night, so I can tell you're paying attention to our changes. Hehe.

The gold star is a plan that gives contributing members more features and benefits. In the past, our contributing members simply were given a red font when they contributed. However, I didn't think that was enough. While the biggest benefit, of course, is that a gold star member is helping the club success, there are other perks. I am working on the ability to suppress ads, giving more PM's, "hiding" when online, larger attachments and files, and other various things. I am working on the overall plan but it's simply a way to give contributing members the ability to be known for their assistance along with a few benefits. I also recognize the fact that not all contributing members want to "known" for their contributions, which is why I removed the red font, added the classy gold star, and enabled the ability to hide from view when browsing the site. I also added a new gold star configuration for members who cannot contribute in a monetary way, but, are going to help out around the site by volunteering and adding content.

Let me know if you have any other questions about the gold star, it's still a work in progress and I'm working on ways to add more benefits.

Mike, I am a professional server systems administrator. I was a little surprised when you said you got burned on virtualization as I have the exact opposite opinion. Feel free to reach out and use my as a resource if you ever feel its necessary

Ok so that was fun! Server move was a success, although it did take 21 hours. Our old ISP had a max upload rate of 1.5Mbps and our site is 90GB. What a day, thanks for your patience!
