The cheap way to modify my car

Its practically free! ;) While saving up for what I want to eventually do to my car, I spend time in photoshop messing around with ideas I have. The bottom is an illustration of my car as it stands. It lets me play around with color ideas, suspension looks, wheels etc. Hopefully it will allow me to narrow down what I want to do before I start to spend coin. anyone else keep busy doing anything similar?

This...............................................................That

Just got the flares last week. Collected a Gnose and 15" X 12" BBS-RS wheels over the years so all I need is quality time disassembling, mending, modding, welding, building a 3litre, then body/paint work.

Blue, that is gonna be sweet. Yeah I also want to do that.

i bought a 2 piece g nose, the real fender mirrors, and some wheels before I bought my car . (parted out my rx7 to get the parts, couldn't pass up the deals). Just need the flares (those are pretty cheap and common) hood hinges (can be made) and the headlight covers.

My inspirations

Yes Chris! That is the subtle thing I noticed. Gnoses seem to look better when they are not colour matched on the bottom half.I also prefer them to be dark grey and match the flares. Black seems too dark.A bumperless rear also looks nice:

I am working on my Z this winter, but last winter I rebuilt a motorcycle. I got much more "out there" with the design on my bike than I ever will on the car, and I spent lots of time in photoshop tweaking my ideas.

I understand that not everyone reading this will have an interest in a motorcycle build thread, but the entire thread, including photoshop "mock-ups," is in the Honda XL600 link below, in my signature.

And yes, I agree with the previous poster who commended your good photoshop skills.

Cheers
