When I click on the Store link at the top of the page I get an SSL Error and a message that The site's security certificate is not trusted!. I sent Mike an e-mail and I get a message back from Hotmail's "Postmaster" that the message has been delayed. Posting here for better communication. I'm using Google's Chrome browser in Incognito mode.

Uh oh, I have been getting the same thing in that the Safari browser tells me it can't verify the site certificate but I have always just clicked continue, ignoring the problem. I have done that on other sites too with no problem but the risk is a site could be spoofing the real site?

Hard to tell why it happens but considering what's happened recently with Target and Nieman Marcus, why take a chance. The potential aggravation isn't worth the ease of one more click.

It's probably hurting sales for the site also. I was going to link to the microfiche CD for someone but the message stopped me. Clicking through to look is one thing, putting your payment information would be asking for trouble.

Our certificate expired and I haven't renewed it yet. All transactions are still secure because it's a self-signed certificate but I can understand the concern. I'll see what it takes to get the new certificate again, thanks guys!

I don't even really know what a "certificate" is, let alone a "self-signed" one.

By the way, your webmaster address doesn't seem to be valid anymore. I'm still getting failure to deliver messages about "webmaster@classiczcars.com".
